Lesson one – Mood Follows Action – September 2009
When I am feeling blocked or depressed, I usually notice that I am sitting down.
Since my brain is connected to every single part of my body – it makes sense that if I stand up, my brain will stand up too. And, standing up is motion.
Getting in motion really does make a difference in my mood and my idea generation.
The old saying "mood follows action" is really true – even if the action is no more than going to get a drink of water.
